You're at a customer site landing a drone on a 110kV line, then at the conference turning the demo into a scoped pilot. You're the reason our pipeline grows. We're looking for someone technical enough to earn a utility engineer's trust and social enough to enjoy spending hours with them. Expect to travel across Europe and occasionally further.
What you'll do
- Run live demos at customer sites, including flying drones onto power lines
- Lead discovery conversations with utilities to surface the problems worth solving
- Scope pilots and write the technical parts of proposals together with the engineering team
- Build and run the sales funnel: outreach, follow-up, pipeline hygiene, forecasting
- Feed customer insights back into product, what they actually need, not what they say they need
- Whatever is necessary: if something needs to happen, you do it
What you'll ship in the first 3 months
- Run a live demo at a customer site, including landing a drone on a power line
- Design the sales process that lets our pipeline scale past the founders
- Turn at least one discovery conversation into a scoped pilot proposal
Your qualifications
- Engineering or technical background, so you understand how hardware and software actually work
- You enjoy spending hours with customers and can turn a long conversation into a clear problem statement
- Fluent in English (other languages are a bonus)
- Comfortable flying drones, or willing to learn and get certified
- Willing to travel frequently to customer sites across Europe and beyond
- Bonus: experience in the power or grid industry, prior technical B2B sales or BD, or background in drones and robotics
