Munich · Full time
You show up at a Westnetz substation at 6am with three drones in cases, get them onto a 110kV line, and make sure they keep running for the next four months. Deployments are where our product meets reality.
Expect to travel 30 to 50 percent across Germany, Europe and the US. If you enjoy being outside, working with your hands, and turning field observations into product improvements, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Deploy drones with the largest Grid owners of Europe and the US
- Prep drones for shipping: acceptance tests, packing, logistics, customs docs
- Pick up drones when something breaks in the field, debug on-site when possible
- Train customer operators so they can deploy our drones independently
- Feed field observations back into product improvements with clear, actionable reports
- Whatever is necessary, if something needs to happen, you do it
What you'll ship in the first 3 months
- Own the deployment pipeline end-to-end for at least one customer site
- Build a deployment checklist and field kit that anyone on the team can take on the road
- Establish a fault triage process that gets a broken drone back flying in under two weeks
Your qualifications
- Willing to travel across Europe, occasionally further
- Practical troubleshooter: you can debug hardware and software in a dusty field with bad WiFi
- Comfortable working with industrial customers and their safety requirements
- Fluent German
- Bonus: electrical background, experience on high-voltage sites
